How to Use Idly Rice (For Batter)

Cooking Method for Broken Idlu Rice

4 cups Broken Idly Rice
1 cup Urad Dal (whole or split)
1 tsp Fenugreek seeds (optional)

Steps:

Rinse and soak broken rice and urad dal separately for 4–6 hours.
Grind urad dal until fluffy. Then grind rice to a slightly coarse texture.
Mix both batters and ferment overnight (8–12 hours) in a warm place.
Use for making soft idlis or crispy dosas.
