You can cook Rajabogam Ponni Rice using a pressure cooker, open pot, or electric rice cooker.
Here’s a simple method:
Ingredients:
1 cup Rajabogam Ponni Rice
2½ cups water
Pinch of salt (optional)
Steps:
Rinse the rice 2-3 times to remove excess starch.
Soak for 20–30 minutes (optional, for softer texture).
Add rice and water to the pressure cooker.
Cook for 3 whistles on medium heat.
Let pressure release naturally. Fluff with a fork and serve.
Open Pot Method
Rinse and soak rice for 20–30 minutes.
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Add 1 cup of rice and a pinch of salt.
Cook uncovered for 15–18 minutes on medium flame.
