How to Use Seeraga Samba Rice
Open Pot Method (Ideal for Biryani)
Ingredients:
1 cup Seeraga Samba Rice
2 to 2.25 cups water
Salt as required
Instructions:
Rinse the rice thoroughly 2–3 times.
Soak in water for 30 minutes (important for fluffiness).
Boil water in a heavy-bottomed vessel.
Add soaked rice and salt. Cook uncovered on medium flame.
Once water is absorbed, cover and simmer on low for 5–7 minutes.
Rest for 10 minutes, fluff gently and serve.
Pressure Cooker Method
Rinse and soak rice for 20–30 minutes.
Use 1 cup rice : 2 cups water ratio.
Cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
Let the pressure release naturally and fluff gently.
Drain excess water and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
